For well over the past decade or so I've been lucky enough to receive one of
Sandy Levy's Matzah Brei specialties. I can almost recall the days way back when my mothers close friend mentioned to her that she knew how to do something good with
Matzah and she had something for my family to try. True indeed the following few days after that we were at the Levy's house where we were greeted by round shaped
sugar coated matzah
pie's entitled "Matzah Brei" (pronounced BRR-YYY). Prior to trying this treat I didn't quite have a clue of what to expect but after enjoying the goodness we call Matzah Brei I was instantly sold on to what I'd like to now consider a Jewish "
delicacy". So sweet and tender with hints of
cinnamon you'd have to call me a liar if I didn't agree that this is the only thing I look forward to on
passover. Often times when I've helped myself to a slice of Matzah Brei I include some form of jam weather that be
Apricot or
Strawberry it's a requirements or if you feel the need you can enjoy it plain.
Special thanks to Sandy for the pie and for those who haven't ever had a chance to try this send me an email and maybe I can start some form of service you know kind of like a business where Sandy charges people for Matzah Brei? not a bad idea right?

Kosher Apricot Jam. Yum.

Unraveling that tinfoil was like winning the golden ticket to the Wonka Factory.

Sugar places on top of the Matzah Brei for endless sweetness

Thick indeed.

A slice.. with out the flash..

With the flash but nothing like seeing it in person.

Layers upon layers..

Still got some left but by the time you read this it'll be gone.
